Use the same connection details for Power SQL Update in Dev and Production environments
To use the same SQL connection in a dev and production environment, make sure the dev SQL server has the same instance name as the production one.
Then you can use the hosts file in windows to map a server name to the actual server in each environment without having to change the connections in Power SQL update
